Lytham Club Day and Rose Queen Festival
(Saturday 26th June 2010)

 Kite Festival

This free family fun filled day out will be sure to make your kids laugh and smile.  The Northern Kite Group will entertain the whole family at Beacon Country Park with fantastic flying kite displays and a Teddy Parachute drop will take place between 10am and 4pm, so ensure you bring your teddies with you to this fantastic day out! Mooky’s Eastern Promise

Fleetwood Cycle Festival
(Sunday 13th June 2010)

A fantastic free family day out with BMX stunt displays, penny farthing ride, stilt walkers, virtual bike ride and a circus to keep the children entertained.  The bike ride is 4miles long taking in the sights from Fleetwood to Cleveleys.  It is open to all ages and cycling abilities with the first ride setting off at 11am and the second at 2pm.  Go on down and you’ll be sure to have a family fun day out!  See www.wyrebc.gov.uk for more details.

Samlesbury Skirmish Fathers Day weekend

 Towneley Park Heritage Celebration Weekend

Blackpool Armed Forces and Veterans’ Week

From Earth to Gallifrey
(2nd April – 31st October 2010, 1pm-4pm till April-30th June, 10am-4pm July-September, 1pm-4pm October)

This Dr. Who mini-exhibition in Lancaster town centre is targeted towards families and follows the famous Dr through time, beginning in the 1960’s right up to the present day.  So if you or your children are die-hard Dr. Who fanatics, this is a must!

Blackpool’s Championship Dog Show
(Friday 25th- Sunday 27th June 2010)

Blackpool and District Canine Society will host this year’s championship dog show, with some 125 breeds and over 10,000 dog entrants! It is a great day out and costs £10 per car opening from 7am.  The judging starts from 9am-5pm each day.

Lancashire Darts World Masters Ladies Singles Playoffs
(Sunday 13th June 2010)

Beechwood Working Men’s Club in Blackburn hosts this year’s Darts playoffs.  Register by 11.30 am, Toe the Oche by 12pm. Competition entries on the day are accepted however at an extra supplement charge of £2.  Otherwise £5 per person.

Beaverbrook’s Blackpool Bike Ride 2010
(Sunday 13th June 2010)

This ever growing event is popular with both cycling fanatics and families alike.  In aid of Trinity Hospice, this cycling event allows riders to partake in 45, 30, 18 or 15mile routes, starting from Fairhaven Lake or The Bay Horse, Thornton.
