Cumbria boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in England and is not only home to the five tallest mountains, two infamous National Parks and many areas of outstanding beauty, but hosts a very unique personality and culture. Being predominantly rural, the county of Cumbria is home to the Lake District National Park, which is known for being one of the most beautiful areas of the United Kingdom. Much of the landscape is mountainous and is home to the highest point of England, Scafell Pike. Cumbria has such a naturally rich environment that families come back year after year for days out and to explore the great outdoors.
If you are passionate about food then look no further than the county of Cumbria. Being home to Amble, the most important fishing centre north of the Tyne, fresh produce is always at hand to tantalise those taste buds.
